Dr Jill Cargnello

Dr Jill Cargnello completed her medical degree and dermatology training in Melbourne and then spent two years in London where she worked at St Bartholomew’s hospital as a consultant dermatologist and a senior lecturer in dermatology.

Dr Jill Cargnello became interested in hair disorders early in her career and was involved in several research projects during her time in London. She was involved in establishing the first hair clinic at the Skin and Cancer Foundation in Melbourne. The clinic has expanded and has now been in operation for over twenty years. Dr Cargnello continues to attend the clinic, seeing patients and training dermatology registrars.

Dr Jill Cargnello enjoys the challenges of all aspects of Dermatology but she has particular interest and expertise in managing hair disorders, acne, skin cancer and the ageing process. In addition to this she has over thirteen years of experience in using pulsed dye laser to treat vascular blemishes ranging from birthmarks to red sun damaged complexions and 532/1064 Q switched Yag laser to treat brown marks, discoloration of the skin and tattoos.

Jill’s use of natural fillers and neurotoxins complement her laser expertise and enable her to offer comprehensive treatment for the ageing process.
